I know I seldom write my thoughts here. I also don't have much time to post on my blog over at [link] either. Time's passed pretty fast. I'm already 24 and I have a degree in Bachelor of Design (Communication Design). Looking back, I have had the greatest opportunity to be an Associate Lecturer at the Intl. School of Design & Technology at the age of 21. I'm currently their In-House Expert for workshops on Photoshop and Adobe's Creative Suite of products. I also have conducted workshops for high schools, corporations like Standard Charted Bank.
My company went through a rebranding last year and is currently working to update the website that goes along with our new logo. For those interested, the logo is already up on the facebook page: [link] and twitter page as well: [link]. If you could follow and like both of the pages, it'll be much appreciated, we'll be posting our updates via facebook and twitter. And keep a lookout for our spanking brand new look this coming April!
I have been the Co-Manager of an Adobe User Group since 2008 and I have big plans for both the User Group and my company, constantly pushing myself to raise the bar and set the tone of design industry locally. I was featured in the local newspaper twice last year thanks to my creative involvement with Women's Fashion Week 2011 that propelled Singapore to be the 8th most fashionable city in the world. I'm proud to have been a part of it. Such ground breaking events have been such an inspiration to many as well as myself.
Hopefully, I'll be able to continue to help build the design scene here in Singapore and do great for the community. Maybe some philanthropy in the near future would be great! I shall update this space again when I have the time. Ciao!
